ENTRY FEES: $2.00 for each bird
ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries must be postmarked no later than Monday,
August 6th. Send your entry with entry fees to PIGEON DEPT.,
CLACKAMAS COUNTY FAIR, 694 NE 4th Ave., Canby, OR 97013. Fees
must accompany entries.
COOP IN TIME: Birds may be brought to the Fair on Monday, August 13,
2007 from 8:00am to 9:00pm.
RELEASE TIME: Birds will be released from 8:00pm to 10:00pm the last
day of fair. No vehicles will be admitted while Fair patrons are present.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
To insure successful competition exhibitors must comply with these rules
and the general rules and regulations in the beginning sections of the
Exhibitors Handbook.
In filling out your entry you must state plainly your name, address,
phone number, exhibitor number (see entry form)
and the breed, color, leg
band number, lot and price if for sale, of each bird entered.
1. Competition is open to anyone. 4-H and FFA exhibitors may show in
Open Class as long as they show different birds than they are showing
in 4-H or FFA.
2. Ring Neck Doves and all breeds of Domestic Pigeons are welcome.
3. All birds exhibited MUST have numbered leg bands.
4. Every bird must be entered in one of the following LOTS:
YOUNG HEN: Female under one year of age.
YOUNG COCK: Male under one year of age.
OLD HEN: Female over one year.
OLD COCK: Male over one year.
5. During the period of the Fair, the Fair will feed and water the birds.
6. Birds showing evidence of disease will not be accepted and entry fees
will be forfeited.
7. The superintendent or any assigned judge shall have full authority to
disbar from competition any entry which is too immature, diseased, or
otherwise unworthy of the breed it represents.
8. There will be no advertising, premiums or anything else placed on the
coops or in the building without the approval of the superintendent.
9. Sale birds will only be released at coop-out time.

CLASS CHAMPIONS
Champion $5.00 & Rosette Reserved Champion $3.00 & Rosette
If 20 or more birds are judged in any of the following classes: Utility
Pigeons, Performing Pigeons, Fancy Pigeons, Rare Pigeons and Ring
Neck Doves.
GRAND CHAMPION PIGEON
A Rosette and a premium of $5.00 will be awarded to the top bird in the show.
